PROJECT OVERVIEW
The northern portion of Ben Eastman Road in Sebring that runs between the Sebring Parkway and Panther Parkway is closed. Highlands County Engineering, in coordination with Hickey Excavation Inc. will be constructing a paved roadway and putting in a sidewalk on the closed portion of Ben Eastman Road.
PROJECT TIMELINE
Roadwork begun on 08/31/26 and is expected to continue till Mid December 2026.
What to expect:
•The portion of Ben Eastman Road between Sebring Parkway and Panther Parkway is closed
•Detour and roadwork signs throughout the area
Detours:
•Traffic on Ben Eastman Road south of Sebring Parkway must turn left or right onto Sebring Parkway
•Traffic on Panther Parkway must continue to the roundabout and follow the detour signs
•Eastbound traffic on Sebring Parkway must continue to the roundabout and follow the detour signs
If you travel through this area, allow extra travel time and consider using an alternate route when possible.
