The Assistant County Administrator is responsible for many of the same projects and initiatives as the County Administrator. Like the County Administrator, the Assistant County Administrator supervises day-to-day operations, and supports the Board’s agenda.

The Assistant County Administrator oversees the operation of different departments such as the Ag & Home Economics, Animal Control, County-wide Libraries, Fire Services, Emergency Management, Emergency Medical Services, Parks and Recreation, Program Services, Public Information Office and Tourist Development .
