Commissioner Harris is a native Floridian, living in Sebring for over 25 years.
He came to Highlands County in 1985 with his father to develop the Country Club of Sebring. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the current Executive Director of the Highlands County YMCA.
Commissioner Harris’s past experience includes Real Estate Broker, Community Association Manager, Class C Utility Operator, Certified Food Manager, State Residential Contractor, and an Eagle Scout.
He attends Bible Fellowship Church, is a member of the Sebring Sunrise Rotary Club, Sebring Firemen, Inc. and is a United Way board member.
Commissioner Harris is married to wife Janet, and together they have two daughters.
