This park is dedicated to the memory of the Florida recipients of the Medal of Honor. There is a memorial for each individual. Additional memorials are located throughout the park and are worth the walk beneath the oak trees. Plans for a piece of static military equipment to join the park are underway. Park benches have been donated by the members of the Veterans Advisory Board and the 40 et 8, Unit 863, Lake Placid.
