Mark has been involved in local government administration and land use planning for over 30 years. His recent work experience includes serving as the Assistant County Manager for Alachua County, Florida where he also oversaw the Growth Management and Public Works Departments, and serving as the Planning, Zoning, and Building Director for the City of West Palm Beach, Florida where he managed various programs relating to land use planning, development, zoning, site plan review, transportation planning, code enforcement, building permitting, and inspections.
Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Master of Community and Regional Planning from the University of Nebraska. He is both a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and the American Planning Association.
