Bernis Gainer Jr. is a second generation Florida native. He holds a BS degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. While in Orlando, he began his career at SunTrust bank working part-time while completing his education, and later full-time supervising clerks.

]Bernis comes to us with extensive knowledge in Information Technology having worked for private firms in theTampa Bay region in Technical Support and Quality Assurance areas.

He has prepared operating and capital budgets, and forecasted revenue having worked as a Budget Analyst for three years here in Highlands County.

His talents will complement those of current staff and he will maintain standards and lead to newer, higher levels of accountability and will meet the challenges that lie ahead.
